About DBM
and the show

Divine Black Man is the pursuit to being the best black man you can be.”-Troy Pugh

As black men there are any given number of stereotypes about us as men. Not all of them bad but most, and the problem is in most cases black men believe them. As a culture we haven’t been the best at teaching our younger men a better way. So I got to thinking if I can’t find someone who will, I should do it myself. Choosing to be a better version of yourself for yourself and those in your surroundings. WE NEED TO CHANGE, AND THAT CHANGE NEEDS TO BEGIN WITHIN OUR OWN COMMUNITY.

Personal perspective refers to an individual’s unique way of viewing and interpreting the world around them. It is shaped by various factors such as one’s experiences, beliefs, values, and cultural background. Personal perspective plays a crucial role in how individuals make sense of their surroundings, understand others’ behaviors, and form opinions and judgments. Understanding personal perspective can allow for greater empathy, appreciation for diversity, and effective communication.
